Good opening match, with Lars being able to dominate like he needed to. Ohno did great making Sullivan look good and Sullivan played the big man well.

MOTY candidate. This was a very compelling match where the Velveteen Dream came out as the Next big thing. Fantastic match from beginning to end.

Ember Moon pinned Nikki Cross and defeated Peyton Royce and Kairi Sane to become the NEW NxT Women's Champion
Ember Moon suffering the Asuka curse honestly. The crowd was definitely tired after the previous match. I wanted Kairi to win because I love Kairi Sane. But I greatly enjoyed this match regardless of the tired crowd.

Andrade Cien Almas w/Zelina Vega def. Drew McIntyre to become the NEW NxT Champion
-Definitely a surprising result but considering the high hispanic demographic in Houston, this was well received. Also, since Almas was the original Ingobernable, I say this is a predecessor to a potential Los Ingobernables invasion in the distant future. TRANQUILLO!

The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole (BAY BAY) and ReDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish)) def. SaNItY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, and Killian Dain) and The Authors of Pain (Akam, Rezar, and Roderick Strong) w/Paul Ellering after Adam Cole (BAY BAY!) hit a shining wizard on Eric Young.
This was the first War Games match I got to see in real time rather than an old taping. While a lot of it came off a bit more choreoed than I had anticipated, it was pleasing to see how well this match was considering the only pure Babyface was Roderick Strong and he wasn't even on the most Babyface lined team on this night. Adam Cole winning made me happier. BAY BAY!

Team Raw (Asuka, Sasha Banks, Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, and Bayley) def. Team Smackdown (Natalya, Tamina, Carmella, Naomi, and Becky Lynch)
Asuka was the Sole Survivor
-Eliminating Becky and Bayley so early was DUMB. However, the way Nia Jax was eliminated was intelligently executed and having Asuka basically be the wrecking ball at the end was perfect! Asuka correctly being used at this point!

United States Champion Baron Corbin def. Intercontinental Champion The Miz w/Maryse and the Miztourage (Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas)
-Very good match between two heels that had a lot to prove. This was a weird heel champ vs. heel champ match. Would have had Miz pick up the victory here but, at least we got Daniel Bryan snickering on a YouTube video afterwards. Worth it. Plus I enjoy Corbin.

Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) def. Raw Tag Team Champions THE BAR (Sheamus and Cesaro)
-On any other night this was match of the night. This was great Tag Team Wrestling, even with a small bit of drag. Totally convinced that The Usos are definitely Briscoe ripoffs now. (That's not a bad thing).

Smackdown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair def. Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss
Having Charlotte win here was the correct decision. This was a very good match itself, and honestly out of the four horsewomen, Charlotte had the best match with Alexa Bliss (Sasha Banks's win at Summerslam is a close second though).

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar def. WWE Champion AJ Styles
-MITY. Honestly this was near perfection of a match. AJ coming off of a fantastic match against Finn Balor AND then winning the WWE Championship off of Jinder Mahal, it's only fitting that he pull not only the longest, but the highest quality match of Brock Lesnar's 2017. AJ Styles is the MVP of Smackdown and WWE this year. Lesnar's no slouch in this case either. Can't argue with this result at all.

Team Raw (Braun Strowman, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Finn Balor, and Samoa Joe) def. Team Smackdown (Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, John Cena, Bobby Roode, and Shinsuke Nakamura)
Triple H and Braun Strowman were the Survivors, Triple H with the deciding pinfall.
-And then this match happened.
Having Nakamura, Roode, and Joe eliminated first was infuriating. Then having Cena eliminated (thank god Balor did the damage) without any real major impact was worse. Glad at least Strowman avoided the "let's focus on the Attitude era people" part of the booking of this match. Worst told story of Survivor Series since Rock and Cena. (BOO ME).
Horrible until the post match attack.
