(The Trophy looks like a blue ish version of the rock crystal trophy from Nickelodeon Guts....just look it up)
-Crowd's 50/50 and Sportsmanship shown
-Good combo into the Sliding D by Laith...complete with the springboard armdrag and a very rough tope suicida
-DIAMOND CUTTER AND SENTON BY EVERS! 2 count (blame the senton)
-Very nice bottom rope Springboard Legdrop
-BROGUE!.....DOUBLE BROGUE AFTER THE FIRE AND THE CROWD IS Already going crazy COMPLETE with Women's Wrestling chant
-Multiple versions of the Roundhouse by Laith
-AVALANCHE Powerslam by Evers! This is FANTASTIC by the daughter of Ellering! Such a completely different wrestler between the first and second rounds.
-Powerbomb into ALLIGATOR CLUTCH!
(1 Correct so far in this round. I thought this match, while slightly clunky at times, was a tremendous opener! You gotta feel bad for Evers but loved that opening match, complete with a hug. Evers is going to be great in the nearby future and Laith with a well earned victory!)

Match 2
Serena Deeb(USA) vs. Piper "the Viper" Niven(Scotland) (Nice use of indy gimmick JR!)
-Ooh....Deeb touched the trophy....that could be a bit of a curse later on
-Sportsmanship here as well. 
-Oooh.....that bit of a shove from Niven and a forearm from Deeb
-Deeb went for a scoopslam...and Niven not only blocks it but splashes her as a counter for a quick 2
-Niven went for a Rainmaker but was rolled up by a schoolgirl for a 2
-Backdrop....then Crossbody!
-Went for the senton but double knees block...goes back to the headlock....with a beautiful running headlock takeover
-well.....that's an interesting attack...but she got the monkey flip, followed by a Mark Henry-esque slam and a Rude Awakening
-CANNONBALL by Niven!
-Countered the Michinoku Driver into a Cutter style V1 Dirty Deeds
-Niven dodges the Spear and rams her into corner....VADER BOMB and...2 Count?!?!?!?! Holy Halibut!
-Oh Dear Lord...Piper's going up top....MISSES the Splash but dodges the Spear into the MICHINOKU DRIVER!!!!!!! GAME SET MATCH!
(I really enjoyed the psychology of this match. Everything made sense, including the resilience of Serena Deeb. Fantastic all the way through...Oh and I got that one wrong. Rats!)

Match 3
-Kalisto's in the house!
Princesa Sugehit(Mexico)vs. Mercedes Martinez(USA)
-(I'm rooting for Martinez....because Sugehit eliminated Kay Lee Ray....Also both of their themes are extremely similar)
-Ooh...more sportsmanship
-Very nice counter wrestling off the bat
-Martinez has great snap in her strikes
-Cannonball for a 2 (Sugehit asking for a faster count)
-Tilt a whirl front slam from Martinez followed by two thirds of the amigos and a Final cut off the ropes
-Running Lungblower by Sugehit off the miss of the Helluva kick by Martinez
-Gordbuster followed by Diving Tornado DDT by Sugehit! Much more deliberate pace from these two. 
-(whoever the jerk who was screaming what? during the chants can shut up)
-La Mejia by Sugehit but Martinez escaped....
-Nice Boot by Martinez....and Drops her on the head with a high angle Fisherman Buster!
(2 for 3 considering that I didn't have Sugehit in Round 2. There's a higher quality of match going on as we've been progressing in this episode. That leaves much expectation for Bianca Belair in the final match of the first round against Kairi Sane)

Match 4
Kairi Sane (YAY!) (Japan)vs. Bianca Belair (USA)
(KAIRI IS SO ADORABLE!)
-Attempt at intimidation by Belair
-Hey! No using the hair on Kairi (I might be a bit biased)
-Very nice power on the takedown and the shoudler tackles by Belair
-Kairi Stomped on the Kiss! She's like SHINSUKE! Plus she got that Front Dropkick in good!
-Knocked Bianca down with some GOOD Boxing Elbows
-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! HER BRAID IS AN ILLEGAL WEAPON! DISQUALIFY HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Ok I'm done) Now that's how to get heat!
-oh NOW you wanna say watch the hair referee....that being said, fantastic squat suplexes
-Crowd entirely behind Kairi as Belair is using first a Full Nelson Camel Clutch, followed by a Double Chicken Wing Hold...into a Facebuster (PULL THE BRAID!)
-She went for the unnecessary splash, but Sane blocks them and KOBASHI/KOJIMA Chops!
-STraightjacket Camel Clutch!
-Powerslam by Belair! (Roughest match so far but also the match with the most crowd participation. There is definite investment in this match
-Interesting Spinebuster by Belair.....and going to the top....a TREMENDOUS
 450 SPLASH BY BELAIR!!!! HOLY CRAP! AND A TWO COUNT!
-BELAIR MISSES THE SPEAR! AXE KICK AND CORNER SLIDING D. WHAT A BACKFIST/REVOLVING BITCH SLAP........ELBOW DROP! (Well the Elbow Drop seemed more like a splash) YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT A FLIPPING ENDING!
(That had me from the moment those braid shots happened. This as a whole was a fantastic episode, espeically this final match! I wasn't entirely sold on Belair being in this tournament after both her qualifier or her first round win but Dear GOD that was a statement match by Belair! Kairi is FANTASTIC!)

Episode 6
In the first moments post intro video, they showed Ronda Rousey and Jessamyne Duke (and I'm assuming that Mrs. Roderick Strong, Marina Shafir was the cut out lady.

Match 1
Toni Storm(Australia vs. Lacey Evans(USA)
(Warning, I'm a huge Progress Wrestling Fan...so bit of a Bias for Toni in this case)
-Oooooh Gloves are off from Lacey
-AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI!
-Oh that's not Ladylike!(buzzfeed please don't sue me)
-Yay! Hip attacks! Aww, she was countered.
-Very nice Combo using the turnbuckle and centrifugal force. Also a very nice slingshot elbow drop. That being said...she's doing a good job being the antagonist even though her gimmick is a pro patriotic Rosie the Riveter type.
-Beautiful Backstabber by Storm! Eh...a bit low on the Northern Lights Suplex. (good camera work)
-Evans went for CRUNCHY/Jig N Tonic but Storm was able to escape)
-STRONG ZERO (Air Raid Crash Neckbreaker). Considering the NLS earlier....psychologically it made sense to use that finisher. Hope Evans's neck is ok after this match.

Match 2
Shayna Baszler vs. Mia Yim
Could have honestly seen this as a Final/Semi-Final. A bit sad that this is happening so early in the tournament.
HELLO THERE! Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Charlotte on one side of the barracades and the aformentioned Duke, Rousey, and Shafir
-Oooh No Sportsmanship again from Baszler
-Kick and kick and kick and kick and kick and kick and kick
-Step-Up Rana by Yim  and a BEAUTIFUL Tope Suicida complete with the Fire!
-Good Counter by Baszler of the Eat Defeat into the standing toe hold
-Cesaro-like Gutwrentch Suplexes by Baszler, very nice...Almost Jeff Cobb like!
-TARANTULA and Cannonball by Yim
-Counter into the Ankle Hold by Baszler and quick into the strikes (FANTASTIC psychology)
-Beautiful strike combo ending in the Pele by Yim
-RUNNING Knee counter by Baszler
-BEAUTIFUL German Suplex by Yim
-Rollup into the Sitting Grapevine Ankle LOCK!
-WHAT A POWERBOMB! (Jesus Christ I need a breath!)
Man I feel bad for Dakota Kai and Rhea Ripley....having to follow this
-Yim went for a 450 and Baszler did her best Zack Sabre Jr. and caught her into a Rear Naked Choke!
GAME WHAT A FINISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT A MATCH (The only thing I can say negative is that I wish that could have breathed a little more...but for a non-stop adrenaline match this was FANTASTIC!!!!!)

Oh DEAR GOD A FOUR HORSEWOMEN CONFRONTATION!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYA! EVERYTHIGN IS FLIPPING WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Match 3
Dakota Kai vs. Rhea Ripley
Oh man, Oceania rivalry at it's core! (Ok in all honesty, will this be able to follow that last match?)
Also...DAKOTA IS SO ADORABLE!
-Sportsmanship...and some pandering between the Aussies and Team Kick!
-Bit of Lucha there from Ripley and a NICE dropkick from Kai.
-KICK!Sliding KICK
-Oh dear Lordy.....Kai took an Electric Chair drop to the face on the apron after a blocked free kick
-I do like me a good cravate
-Kick from Ripley and a basement dropkick
Oh, I just realized that Ripley has a nose ring on the right nostrill and Kai has the nose riing on the Left Nostril
-Very nice counter into the prawn hold but RELEASE Flapjack by Ripley!
-NICE counter side Pele by Kai!
-O wow! Kai with a Tekken Inspired Mistrust front kick and a Split Front Boot (man these are some new moves I'm learning)
-RIPCORD Savate Kick, followed by a GREAT Northern Lights Suplex by Rhea
-Ripley caught in the Tree of Woe and DEL RIO STYLE FOOTSTOMP!
While with less heat from the last match, this was ALSO a Fantastic match! Leaping Lampreys Mermaid Man what a match!

Final match of the 2nd Round

Nicole Savoy vs. Candice LeRae
PWG REFERENCE!
-Savoy kicked the hand.
-Good opening throw by Savoy
-Went straight to the spot offense with that diving reverse STO
-OOOOhhh that was a hard landing off of the Saito Side Suplex by Savoy
-Very Nice back Suplex. Good Try by Lita to try create pathos. (LeRae's been hit by a Superkick with a thumbtack shoe.
-LeRae with the Surfboard counter and was able to get the lungblower
-JR spot on in more ways than 1. Rhythm for both women a bit off....But NICE Butterfly Suplexes followed by the attempt at the Jujigatame
-Savoy caught her mid springboard and hit a very good German Suplex
-Good Counter kick from the Dragon Suplex hold by LeRae and tried to lock the octopus stretch
-Savoy booed after a kind of sloppy running forearm
-Headbutt by LeRae on the MUSTACHE RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GAME SET!
Aye! Johnny Wrestling getting a hug from his Winning Wife!
(Not gonna lie, probably my least favorite match of the 2nd round but stilla good match. Savoy was a bit wreckless on this match but wasn't the worst way to end the 2nd Round.

So I'm going to be loyal to my bracket in this case. I thought Martinez would have been eliminated by Kay Lee Ray...and Ray was eliminated by by Sugehit who was eliminated by Martinez....so I'll stay true to the bracket.
Candice LeRae vs. Shayna Baszler

Kairi Sane vs. Dakota Kai
Piper Niven vs. Toni Storm

Episode 7

Match 1
Abbey Laith(USA) vs. Mercedes Martinez(USA)
-I feel that Martinez has become less heelish since the first round, and that could be a precursor.
-Good opening test of strength
-Martinez has impressed me throughout the tournament with her ability to counter the Fujiwara Armbar.
-I stand corrected by the heel thing.
-Split jawbreaker! And a good Spinning Roundhouse!
-good Counter of the snapnare by Martinez...DEAR GOD THAT CHOP
-MACHINEGUN CHOPS AND A BROGUE (ok ok a Bicycle Kick)
-Missed on the Monkey Flip and a Nice stomp by Martinez and a Helluva followed by a jumping Drive by kick!
-Rough landing for Mercedes off the Apron
-Diving crossbody that looked a bit like a Patriot Missile.
-Abbey went for the Alligator Clutch but was sent out of the ring
-NICE German Suplex from Nowhere by Laith! Two count though
-DROPPED Her with that Fisherman Buster after dodging a Second Alligator Clutch!
A much slower match, but so far Martinez's best match. I have a soft spot for Laith being a huge Chikara mark but Martinez was the right person to move on here. Very good match! (Got it wrong but I'm not mad at this point because I've had a wonderful time watching Mercedes Martinez matches. Makes me wanna see the feud she had with NxT Trainer Sara Del Rey (Amato). Heck, it shows me how much Shimmer I need to catch up on.

Match 2
Candice LeRae(USA) vs. Shayna Baszler(USA)
I feel like I've seen this match in Absolute Intense Wrestler before....I'm looking forward to this one. Obviously rooting for LeRae due to my PWG bias as well, but I've really enjoyed Shayna Baszler's matches. She's got a Brock Lesnar-esque feel to her matches and I refuse to complain about that.
-Baszler has been the Ultimate heel in this tournament. No sportsmanship from the first round.
-DEAR GOD WHAT A KNEE to open it up!
-Baszler misses on the strike, and CANDICE with a Vintage Tope Suicida DDT! And one that hit ON POINT!
-TILT A WHIRL Octopus.....AND REVERSED INTO A GARGANO ESCAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(This is the most selling that Baszler has done!)
Rousey and Duke Very worried about their fellow Horsewomen (Le-RAE LERAE LERAE LERAE Le-RAE Le-RAE)
-LeRae went for the Mustache ride but countered in mid air to the rear naked choke for the submission...and SHE DOESN't LET GO RIGHT AWAY COME ON!!!!!!!! X(
-DAMMIT LET GO! OH COME ON The Bell Rang 3 Times that should be a DisqualificatioN!!!! (Yeah, Baszler is the ultimate heel. The only big issue is that if Baszler makes the final, will she be able to have a realistically main event style match more like a tournament final should be. A short match under 10 minutes won't cut it in this tournament. That's just me being honest. You want to drag out the drama longer and we don't need a Brock Lesnar style match for a final.   (And for the record....what a B----...well done)

Match 3
Piper Niven(Scotland) vs. Toni Storm(Australia)
-Whoops...Piper touched the Trophy. She's doomed)
These two are probably familiar with each other from both the British scene and sharing Japanese tours. Good Sportsmanship ahead of time.
-JR referencing Klondike Kate (And mentioning the Referee)
-Oh that's some good Strength from Storm on that bridge! Great respect between these two, especially after that last match.
-Beautiful counter by Niven....and a SMART splash by Piper on Storm.
-Very nice crossbody by Niven. Great insight by Lita on Niven's composure. She's gotten so much better since the first episode.
-Crossbody Splash and a Low Senton from Niven. Storm's had to take ALOT so far.
-I have to say that a lungblower to someone the size of Niven is probably not the smartest of ideas even if if you do get offense in. Storm nevertheless able to
-Hip attack and Cannonball miss, but Storm gets the Hip attack (Just realized that Piper's like 25 and Storm is 21)
-MICHINOKU Driver! AND STORM KICKS OUT! CANNONBALL!
-Niven going to go for the big Vader Bomb in the corner....WHAT A FLIPPING GERMAN SUPLEX BY TONI FLIPPING STORM!
-STORM with a Leg Drop for the Win!
That was easily Toni Storm's best match of the tournament thus far. That being said, I will say that Piper Niven didn't have a Bad match this entire tournament. And you could argue that her body of work at least by this point could only be rivaled by Kairi Sane and Shayna Baszler. Absolutely Impressive by the wonderful Scot. She sold me on how good she was this entire tournament. One of my favorites coming out of the tournament! Fantastic Sportsmanship from the two ladies. And I got this one right!

So...in between the two back matches, Duke, Shafir, and Rousey were being interviewed about their buddy Baszler, when Charlotte, Becky, and Bayley approach them for a staredown. "Anytime Anywhere!" OH man!

Kairi Sane(Japan) vs. Dakota Kai(New Zealand) (OH NO! I CAN'T CHOOSE BETWEEN THE TWO MOST ADORABLE Ladies of the tournament! NO NO NO NO NO!)
Sportsmanship!
-This is one of the few matches were both tend to be of similar styles....something also tells me that they may have met in the past.
-Wait....Kai doesn't have her Chun Li bobs... She's REALLY CUTE!
-Ooooh poses
-Kairi with a Double Sledge followed by a grounded Blockbuster
-Interesting Chops by Kai, Deep chops by Sane
-Oh man.....SPLIT drive by from Kai. As if Samoa Joe did a split with his Drive by kick!
-MISTRUST KICK!Kai is a bit more deliberate considering that Kairi is such a fan favorite.
-HOLY Guacamole WHAT A SPEAR by Sane
-KAI with the Around the World HELLUVA KICK!
-NICE Escape by Kai
-Uh Oh....Kairi's in..SHE DODGED THE COUP DE GRACE! HUGE Forearm by Sane!
-Sliding D a la Masato Tanaka by Sane....
-NICE ROUNDHOUSE and sweet sell!
-Helluva Kick MISSES! ALABAMA SLAMMA JAMMA by Kairi!!!!!!!!!!
-ELBOW DROP! AND THAT'S GAME!
This was a very good match from both women, but also admittedly both of their weakest work. Not because it was bad but because I believe both women are great underdog babyfaces. Dakota is a fantastic underdog babyface but seemed a bit off as the de facto antagonist. Kairi is absolutely beloved! I Love both of these two! Also, Kairi's theme is completely different from the rest of women. It really makes her stand out! (And I got it right!)

Also I just realized at the end of the Quarterfinal review that 1 side of the bracket was all USA and the other side was all international.

And now the Semi-Finals split off into  a double heel American side and a Double face Pacific Ocean Side with an Australia/Japan Semi-Final. Oh how fantastic this is going to be!

Mercedes Martinez vs. Shayna Baszler
Kairi Sane vs. Toni Storm
This is where my predictions finally come full circle hopefully. The reasoning is simple. Throughout the tournament you had the ultimate beloved underdog, the Daniel Bryan esque Kairi Sane, and a Brock Lesnar machine heel in Shayna Baszler. Plus, if you didn't know better...you would take someone who was already signed and have them go against someone who can give them the most press.

Episode 8

Match 1
Mercedes Martinez vs. Shayna Baszler
-It's very interesting in both matchups since both sides have actual history behind it. I want to see if we can get a longer match out of Baszler. Maybe Martinez is the woman to do it.
-I want to root for her, but for that one split second when she does a quick sign of the cross before hand, I can't root against her.
-Martinez had a different version of that sign of the cross as well.
-Oh hey! Sportsmanship! First time that Baszler has done that.
-Oooooh Martinez brushing off the kick there
-This is a bit more of a shoot opening and this is cool!OOOOOOH WHAT A CHOP
First time Baszler has been even remotely dominated psychologically.
-AyYYYYY we want Mercedes (I hope that's what they were chanting)
-JESUS CHRIST Baszler finally has to sell and NICE fakeout by Martinez
-NICE combo followed by the Knee by Baszler!
-First time I think I've seen Baszler go for a pin....or even hesitate as well as breath in offense
-NICE Transition from the cradle pin into the kneebar!
-HELLO THERE! Martinez with the classic Regal Stretch!
-OOOOh nice double slap! This is easily Baszler's best match as well as Martinez's best.
-SHE GOT THE BUSTER! Mercedes got the buster but her leg and shoulder are injured!
-Took too long for the pin but fantastic up to this point.
-OOOH That Saito Suplex!AND THAT SECOND SAITO SUPLEX and A GERMAN suplex
-KIRAFUDA DRIVER/Baszler Special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And she Taps!
Shayna Baszler advances to the Mae Young Classic Finals in Las Vegas in a Fantastic Match!
Rousey and Duke celebrating as the announcement is made official! An embrace between the two semi-finalist as Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Sara Amato come in to congratulate Baszler and hand her a bouquet of roses a la Japanese Joshi Tradition.

Match 2
Kairi Sane vs. Toni Storm
While it's a different type of history, both women are both formerly/current Stardom promotion wrestlers in Japan. No strangers in their own right to each other.
(OH NO! Kairi Touched the trophy! Please don't be an omen!!!!!!)
-Storm not as animated coming down, but there is sportsmanship!
-Both these gals and dueling Let's go chants going on
-Oooh a gator roll and they end in a neutral suplex hold. That's new.
-Baszler watching from the background (nice advantage for her)
-A bit of a smirk from Storm after the last exchange
-OW! Why Toni? Why you gotta hurt the elbow with that Sabre Jr. armbreaker
-Storm finally getting to show off the Japanese influenced style.
-Nice fakeout by Storm but she gets pulled down by Sane
-Crossbody! And Kairi hit headfirst (Ohhhhhh so that's probably where she got her concussion that was reported by WON and PWI after these set of tapings)
-Oooooh A Very nice Crab by Sane, both from a recovery standpoint
-Good counter of the Sliding D with the Yoshimitsu shotgun dropkick
-Toni got the german suplex and  hip attack but Sane got the spear
(Aww, Kairi's got a bruise on her face!)
-Japanese girls do scream alot (A point that Toni Storm made in a recent Progress Video)
-WHAT A DOUBLE SLEDGE! Kairi's going for the Elbow!
-SHOTEI by Storm! Deadlift FIsherman Buster Hold! TWO!
-Storm going for Strong Zero, but blocks the Backfist.....ODE TO HASKINS! THAT's AN ODE TO PROGRESS FOR YA!DEAR FLIPPING GOD THAT ARMBAR IS SO PAINFUL LOOKING! CRADLE COUNTER!
-HEADBUTT!!!!!!! Going for the Leg Drop!
-Leg Drop Hits but across the back instead of the neck!
-BACKFIST!!!!!!!!!
-Well this is an interesting leg submission....it was kind of like a Haas of Pain meets Texas Cloverleaf no insert sharpshooter
-SHE GOT THE ELBOW! KAIRI TO THE FINALS!!!!!!!
What a Flipping Match!
That replay made that elbow look SO much prettier!

Shayna tried to intimidate Kairi but No Fear from the Pirate!


Analysis
This tournament has not disappointed in quality. It has made stars out of many of the wrestlers that were entered. Some through victories, others through losses. Dear Lord Baszler is Flipping scary and Kairi has been placed perfected as the underdog. This final should be fantastic!

-HOLY CRAP THAT WAS A HELLUVA KICK FROM AROUND THE WORLD
-A Double Stomp that would make Low Ki's voice raise a few pitches by Kai!
Probably the ugliest match so far(that's not a bad thing considering that Devi is a powerhouse), but MAN what a finish!

-It's very difficult to get certain holds over, that Double Chicken Wing hold being one of the hardest.
-BUBBA BOMB by Beckett (nice tribute)
-Buisaku boot by Beckett (and that was Cool from her) followed up the Harley Race (or apparently Mr. Wrestling II) knee lift
-SHE WHIPPED THE HAIR!!!!!! And a Very Nice Explosive Spear!
This one was uglier than the last, but it worked better because both were heavy hitters.

Overall I was impressed with the talent that was matched up in this first round. I think considering that the WWE Universe had a better knowledge of the male performers of the CWC, the gals did a fantastic job of getting the crowd into their matchups as well as their gimmicks. There were some rough matches, like Rachel Evers vs. Marti Belle as well as Sage Beckett vs. Bianca Belair, but we also had some fantastic gems like Kairi Sane vs. Tessa Blanchard and Piper Niven vs. Santana Garrett. Kudos also to squashes by Shayna Baszler and Mercedes Martinez, as well as the matchups between Jazzy Gabert and Abbey Laith, as well as Mia Yim vs. Sarah Logan
